Milton Keynes Dons moved into a new UEFA 4 star 32,000 capacity stadium complex in Milton Keynes in 2007. They won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at Wembley and secured promotion to League One for the 2008/09 season.
Milton Keynes Lightning Ice Hockey team were the English Premier League play off winners 2005/06.
Milton Keynes Lions Basketball team were BBL Cup Winners 2007/08.
