Milton Keynes has a considerably younger labour force than the nation as a whole, reflecting the overall age structure of the city.
Milton Keynes' beneficial location also means that the travel-to-work catchment area greatly increases the pool of available labour. There is a total population of over 1 million people living within 30 minutes drive time of the city.
